Origin and Importance
#

Observing fallen leaves resting on the grass, seeing the water carry meaning of their descent from the tree to the ground—this serves as a reminder to awaken to the truth of life: that all things are impermanent.

We humans must face death. Whether one is rich or poor, holding a high position or low, no one can escape death—it is the natural law of the world.

Philosophy
#

The work communicates the decay and decline of all conditioned things which undergo constant change. Through weathered wood and ocean debris, each piece embodies the passage of time and the inevitable transformation of matter.

The Cycle of Existence
#

It reveals how life is illusory and impermanent. The installation invites contemplation on impermanence—how everything we perceive as solid and permanent is actually in constant flux, shaped by forces beyond our control.
