Butterfly
Origin and Inspiration#
Butterfly begins with happiness, freedom, and hope. A butterfly flying freely becomes a symbol of independence, approaching joy, and an optimistic way of seeing the world.
The project grows from observing beauty in small natural things: fallen leaves, their quiet movement in the wind, and the delicate flutter of butterfly wings. These fragile forms suggested a way to transform leaves into a moving artwork.
Concept#
The work connects the motion of butterfly wings with the nature of leaves: thin, light, and responsive to air. Suspended leaves are not only visual elements. They become signs of constant change, moving with wind and light as the surrounding environment changes.
Purpose#
By using the butterfly as a simple and universal symbol, the work sends a message of positive growth to those who encounter it. Color and reflective surfaces turn ordinary leaves into small gestures of imagination, carrying natural beauty through movement.
With the Wind#
Installed among trees and architecture, the work depends on the atmosphere around it. Wind activates the leaves, sunlight catches their color, and the viewer sees the installation change from moment to moment.
